Benefits
- Improves balance, proprioception and leg strength
Procedure
- Use a higher step than normal, add books underneath (if stable) or use a chair
- Place a cushion on the floor
- Guide your dog to do a two up so front paws are up and rear paws are on the balance cushion
- Lift the left rear leg whilst standing on their right side
- Hold for 3-10 seconds (as per program)
- Treat as needed
Special Note:
- Be sure to keep the knee and paw facing forward (do not rotate)
